1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Wax Spinner (“the Service”), operated by Intergalactic Robots, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wax Spinner. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their permission.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

4. What you can post

Wax Spinner lets you share spins (records you're listening to), notes, and comments. You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
• Harasses, threatens, or demeans other users
• Is spam, phishing, or commercial solicitation
• Infringes another person's intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, scripts, or other harmful code

Album artwork displayed on Wax Spinner is sourced from Discogs and is not uploaded by users. We are not responsible for the content of album artwork retrieved from third-party sources.

5. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of any original content you post (such as notes and comments). By posting, you grant Wax Spinner a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content as part of the Service.

Album titles, artist names, cover artwork, and related metadata are the property of their respective owners. Wax Spinner displays this data via the Discogs API under Discogs's terms of service.

6. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Upon deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed from our systems as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

Wax Spinner is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. Use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wax Spinner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
